Through education and support, you can take control of your diabetes.
The Stanford Medical School’s Diabetes Self-Management Program will teach you the skills you need to take
control of your life. You will learn techniques to deal with symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain,
hyper/hypoglycemia, stress and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear and frustration.
Topics include:

  • Appropriate exercise to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance
  • Healthy eating
  • Appropriate use of medication
  • Skills to communicate effectively with family, friends, and health professionals
  • Step-by-step plan to improve your health- and your life

Join us for this interactive 6 week workshop (2 ½ hours each week).

This workshop begins Friday, May 12 and continues each Friday through June 16
